Amber Smith was a model and is an actress from America. She was born in Tampa, FL on 2.3.1971. Her parents weren't involved in the TV and modeling industry.

She started off on her own after her 16th birthday. She was a natural blonde with grey eyes but went red-head which saw her move from USA to Europe on assignments for various fashion houses (Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier) and modeling agencies. She is 5 feet and 9 inches tall and measures 34-25-36. The modeling lasted for approximately four years.

In her hay-day was in Sports Illustrated - the Swimsuit Issue, Elle, Cosmo, Marie Claire and others. Before Eva Herzigova made Wonderbra really popular, Amber Smith was the one that actually started it all with her appearance on the billboards. She modeled for the lingerie companies and in Mar 1995, she was on the Playboy cover.

After her modeling career came to halt, she went into acting both in movies and TV series. The nineties were good for her as they gave her appearances in TV series Inferno, Red Shoe Diaries, Friends and Pacific Blue amongst some others. During the same period, she was also in some of the movies Faithful (her first one), Laws of Deception, LA Confidential and American Beauty. The new century saw her star in Sin City Diaries (for thirteen episodes) and The Midnight Hour and Dead End as some of the other movies. She's basically working in movies more than TV series. Battling her addictions with alcohol and drugs for more than a decade and a half saw her appear on Celebrity Rehab.
